Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Important Information about our 2020 AGM and the Coronavirus outbreak

The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority.  That’s why, following further Government guidance and rules to make sure we keep everyone safe, we’re asking that members don’t attend our AGM in person on 22 April 2020. It’s important that we all stick to the rules and restrictions around social distancing, large gatherings and non-essential travel and we hope you understand this difficult request.

We encourage all members, to register your vote at if you can, this is a guaranteed way to make sure your vote is received and counted.  You can also return the postal voting proxy forms, however in the current environment, we cannot guarantee the postal service, so if you can vote online, please do. In these challenging times, you may have questions that you’d like to put to our Board of Directors, we’d really love to hear from you and you can be sure that all of your questions will be answered individually.  You can get in touch with your questions by emailing us at

The AGM will be held as scheduled on 22 April, and will go ahead with the absolute minimum quorum of members required to satisfy the appropriate rules.  We’ll do this in a safe environment making sure we take all of the health and safety measures outlined by the World Health Organisation and Public Health England. We’ll publish the voting results received by post, online and at the meeting as usual on our website shortly after the AGM together with a summary of the Q&A’s received.

So just to confirm, unfortunately, we cannot allow you to attend the AGM in person and again, this is for your safety as well as following Government’s public health guidance.

We’re working hard to make sure we continue to look after our members’ needs during these unprecedented times and if you do need any help with your mortgage or savings please take a look at our Coronavirus update page for help and information and further details of how to get in touch.

Thanks for your continued support and understanding during this challenging period and our best wishes are with you and for your family’s safety.
