Trinity Hospice receive donation from Furness Building Society

Trinity Hospice receives £2.5k support from Furness savers

Furness Building Society’s Community Affinity Account holders have raised over £2,500 for Fylde Coast’s Trinity Hospice in 2025.

The annual donation is based on the collective savings held by Community Affinity Account holders who opt to link their accounts to Trinity Hospice.

The £2,772.69 donation will help Trinity Hospice continue to provide extensive end of life and palliative care for patients across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. The hospice team’s compassionate care is available to patients, carers and their family members free of charge for as long as they need it.

Trinity Hospice’s services include support for patients based in the main hospice, Brian House Children’s hospice, in their own homes and in the community.

Through Furness Building Society’s Community Affinity Accounts, members can support local charities close to their hearts across the North West. Every year, Furness makes a donation to each charity from its own profits, based on the total amount saved in all accounts throughout the year.

Katrina Hampson, Branch Manager at Furness Building Society, commented: “Our Community Affinity Accounts are an excellent way for us and our members to support local causes and organisations that have a big impact on communities across Lancashire and the North West. We're proud to present our donation to Trinity Hospice on behalf of our Poulton branch team and members, as well as all of our account holders, and to support the amazing work they do caring for patients and their families when they need it most.”
