
Furness Building Society solidifies senior team with CFO
Furness Building Society has announced the permanent appointment of Tom Leach as Chief Financial Officer, further bolstering its senior team following Simon Broadley’s promotion to Chief Executive.
Tom takes the role of CFO having been part of the finance team at Furness Building Society since October 2024.
Tom is responsible for financial strategy and prudential risk management, optimising the society’s financial performance to deliver sustainable growth and investment.
He joins with a long-standing career in mutual banking having held roles at Monmouthshire Building Society, Bath Building Society and Principality Building Society.
