Alasdair McDonald
Head of Intermediaries
With over 25 years’ experience in the mortgage intermediary market, Alasdair is the driving force behind our intermediaries team. Before joining us in 2018, Alasdair previously held roles at Newcastle Building Society, Intelligent Finance/HBoS and NatWest/RBS.
Alasdair thrives helping intermediaries and loves a challenge. The father of three spends much of his free-time seeking out new activities and experiences for his family to try and, when he’s not with his family, he can be found supporting his local rugby team, Percy Park RFC.
Emma Saint
The Midlands
Emma started her financial services career at 18 and has developed an extensive skill set that enables her to provide solutions for even the most complex cases. By harnessing our individual approach to underwriting, she provides support and expert guidance to our clients within the Midlands.
In her free time, Emma can be seen hitting the slopes on a family ski trip or spending quality time at home with her husband, teenage sons and Winnie (the cockapoo).

Stephen Calvert
The North & Scotland
Stephen prides himself on providing excellent service and developing strong relationships with our brokers. His 13 years’ experience in financial services enables him to successfully support our brokers daily, no matter how complex the case.
When he’s not busy providing expert advice, Stephen can be seen in the ‘dug out’ of his son’s Junior football team or attending live music events.

Harry Galvin
London and the South
Harry has recently joined the Furness team having most recently worked as a whole of market broker after spending 7 years at Lloyds Bank. With this background he is perfectly placed to understand the challenges faced by brokers in today's market.

Liz Morphet
Team Manager (Telephone BDM’s)
Liz has an unrivalled understanding of the industry and our clients, having been with us since 2007. In that time she’s held key roles within all areas of the business, making her an invaluable member of the team. As Team Manager, she oversees the telephone BDM team and is dedicated to providing an excellent service to our mortgage intermediaries.
Outside the office, Liz enjoys good food and wine, which she tries to burn off in the gym!

Jaydn Niven
Telephone BDM
Ready to embark on a new challenge, Jaydn joined our team in 2020. His ambition and enthusiasm has seen him quickly become a critical member of the Intermediary team. He provides valuable support to our field BDMs, and has recently successfully passed his CeMAP.
When he isn’t studying or working, Jaydn enjoys football, exploring new music and experimenting with fashion.

Adam Griffiths
Telephone BDM
Adam's keen eye for detail, honed through years of experience working at an IP Law Office, ensures our brokers receive outstanding service. Even in his free time, Adam is constantly striving to expand his skillset, currently working towards obtaining his CeMAP qualification and teaching himself to play the Bass guitar.
When he’s not supporting our brokers, you can find him cheering on The Red Devils at Old Trafford’s Stretford End.

Pooja Farish
Telephone BDM
Pooja joined us in 2021 as part of the broker admin hub, after graduating with a degree in computing from UCLan. She’s now part of our close-knit BDM team, providing high-level support for our brokers. Currently, she’s strengthening her skillset by working towards her CeMAP qualification.
In a previous life, Pooja’s superb card skills saw her represent Ireland and Northern Ireland for Bridge in Germany and Rhodes! When she's not providing our brokers with top-notch service, she’s enjoying time outside with her husband and border collie, Mylo.
