In recognition of the work brokers carry out while looking at product transfers, we've introduced broker procuration fees for these services.  This is a key part of FFI’s strategy of building long term mutually beneficial relationships with brokers and their customers.

You will receive 0.3% of the mortgage balance switched to another product

Payment will be made 10 days following completion of the product transfer

Payment will be made to your mortgage club or network or directly to you as specified when you registered with us.  Payment is usually made via electronic payment however in some circumstances we will make the payment by cheque.

The product transfer facility is only available for cases which do not include any other changes to the mortgage for example, changes to term, borrowing more money, changing payment type.

If your customer does want to make any other changes then please contact us on 0800 988 1551.

No, we will use the value according to HPI.  If for any reason the customer wants the property to be valued, they will have to pay for a valuation.

No, we will not need to carry out any checks for a product switch.

We will issue an ESIS within 2 working days 48 hours of the product transfer request 

You should contact our product transfer team on 0800 988 1551 who will be  issue a revised mortgage offer

You will receive confirmation of the product transfer by post which will also let you know the amont of procuration fee you will receive.

No, we will use the value according to HPI. If the customer wishes for their property to be re-valued then they can do this at their own expense 

Yes, please declare this in the usual way when you submit your product transfer request

Yes, these are exclusive products available to our existing customers only 

Yes, the products and rates offered for a product switch are the same 

Mortgage Product Transfer Customer Authority Form must be completed and returned to us before you can act on their behalf.
