Furness Building Society boosts broker team

Furness Building Society has announced the return of Phil Lawford - a highly experienced Business Development Manager - to its broker-facing mortgage team. 

Phil rejoins Furness following a five-year hiatus during which he spent time in similar roles at Saffron Building Society and Tipton & Coseley Building Society. Phil had been at Furness Building Society for almost six years prior to that, working with brokers as part of the intermediaries team. 

Stafford-based Phil now reprises his role at the Cumbrian-based building society where he will be working alongside Emma Saint and Helen Thistlethwaite to help brokers across the Midlands and South secure mortgages for homebuyers. 

Phil boasts a rich and long-standing career in predominantly business development roles within the financial services sector. Outside working life, Phil enjoys running, watching live music and going to the cinema.
