From 31 October 2004, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) which is the independent regulator of the financial services industry, has been responsible for the regulation of the mortgage market, and from 14 February 2005, was responsible for the regulation of the insurance market.

Furness Building Society is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is entered into the FSA Register, number 159624.

This booklet sets some general information regarding the way the Society works, to help you understand our relationship with you and the rights which you have.

In addition to providing you with written material our staff are always happy to answer your questions and explain any matters relating to your mortgage or any of our products.
