Turnerford Financial Services join up with Barrow based Furness Independent

Furness Building Society owned and Barrow in Furness based, Furness Independent Advisers Limited (Furness Independent) has acquired the client book of Windermere based Turnerford Financial Services Ltd.

The owners of the Turnerford business, Fiona Robinson and Sue Swain along with their colleague, Phil Blakey have joined the existing team of Furness Independent's advisers. The office team has also been strengthened with the addition of Turnerford's Gillian Holmes and Isobel Hales. All operational management has switched from Windermere to the Furness Independent office on Duke Street, Barrow in Furness.

The expanded business will continue to provide new and existing customers with unbiased and high quality independent financial advice including financial planning and consultation, retirement planning and pensions, inheritance tax and longer term investments or insurance. Furness Independent can also help to find the most suitable savings rates, the most suitable mortgage deals for first time buyers or re-mortgaging.
